Higher order ambisonic sound postproduction
New Media Laboratory has an advanced studio based on an ambisonic installation and experience based on R&D ImmersiaTV and Immersify research projects. The studio is used for post-production of delivered or recorded audio materials. Ultimately, the files can be prepared for listening in any speaker constellation or adapted to binaural stereo for distribution on popular streaming portals.
Production and synchronization of audio materials for VR 360
Ambisonics is widely used spatial audio method for VR and 360° video applications. The New Media Lab’s interdisciplinary team of specialists has experience in preparing and developing audiovisual materials, including 360° video up to 12K resolution or point clouds.

New Media Lab’s ambisonic installation consists of 40 Genelec 8010A near-field monitors, dedicated interfaces and dedicated software. Operated using Dante technology, it can be quickly and easily adapted to any production workflow or customized for events and demonstrations.
